The Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry/Akwesasne Children's Treatment Centre is a community-funded and supported treatment agency dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse. Through professional counselling children resolve the emotional trauma resulting from their victimization, and parents learn to create a safe and nurturing family environment for their children.
The professional staff seek to integrate the services of the Centre with treatment services available to children and families in the community. The Centre is committed to reflecting and meeting the different linguistic and cultural needs of children and families in Cornwall, Akwesasne and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
